Despite commendable progress in tackling HIV, there are still huge numbers of children out of the reach testing, treatment and care. Tackling the exclusion of these children is fundamental to achieving HIV targets. At the AIDS 2018 conference, the Coalition for Children Affected by AIDS (the Coalition) is calling for differentiated service delivery models, including broader social and economic support, to ensure that all children affected by HIV/AIDS can be tested, treated and cared for.

We ask that you lend your voice to this effort. While in Amsterdam, here’s how you can help ensure that we tackle exclusion in order to end AIDS in children:

  • Come to the events across the conference where we are promoting Coalition messages including the satellite symposium, co-hosting with the Positive Action for Children Fund, on 23rd July 2.45-4.45pm. A full list of Coalition events are available here
  • Hold your own activities, and encourage your networks to do the same, at the communal space we have sponsored on Children and HIV in the Global Village Networking Zone at location #516
  • Help us to disseminate Coalition materials, available in our Networking Zone space, during the conference
  • Using the content we have provided below, promote Coalition events via your own networks before and during the conference via email and social media
  • Share relevant content about children and adolescents on your social media channels throughout the conference
  • Tag @childrenandhiv and use the hashtag #ReachAllChildren in your social media posts
