The Coalition had an expanded footprint at the AIDS 2018 Conference. Some highlights from our time in Amsterdam include:
- Our satellite symposium, Two Years and Counting: How to reach the most vulnerable children & families, hosted jointly with ViiV Positive Action for Children Fund included presentations from:
- Coalition members, Lucie Cluver (Oxford University) and Noreen Huni (Reppsi)
- Charlotte Watts (DFID)
- Douglas Webb (UNDP)
- Coalition Ambassador, Clara Banya, along with Member, Lucie Cluver, will be speaking in the non-abstract special session on children, entitled Prioritized yet dying: addressing the needs of children and adolescents living with HIV. In addition, Coalition members presented at a number of sessions at the Conference.
- In collaboration with the International AIDS Society, the Coalition sponsored the Children’s Research Prize.
- We were extremely proud that Coalition Ambassador, Duduzile Dlamini, won the inaugural Prudence Mabele Prize. We also enjoyed hosting visitors to the children’s networking zone space in the Global Village.
