CORINNA CSAKY JOINS THE COALITION FOR CHILDREN AFFECTED BY AIDS

LOS ANGELES, CA., September 23, 2016 – The Coalition for Children Affected by AIDS (the Coalition) is very pleased to announce its new manager, Corinna Csáky. Corinna brings a strong portfolio of both passion and skill related to children’s issues, policy and advocacy, and managing global networks.

Prior to joining the Coalition, Ms. Csáky worked as an Adviser for the UK Department for International Development and as Global Adviser on Child Protection for Save the Children. She has also served as the Head of Advocacy for Family for Every Child and, most recently, as the Director of Policy & Research for JK Rowling’s INGO, Lumos.

Ms. Csáky has led several successful global interagency advocacy campaigns for which she passionately lobbied for the inclusion of children and families. Having lived and worked in East Africa and Latin America, she is also a trained journalist who has generated numerous high profile reports and television documentaries.

“Corinna has spent the last twenty years combining policy, research, advocacy and communications to change the lives of children and families living in poverty,” said Coalition Chair, Lisa Bohmer. “I am confident that her leadership and expertise will serve the Coalition very well in the years ahead.”
