Mat Southwell
(Mat Southwell’s presentation at CCABA’s meeting in Geneva was filmed and is available for viewing at http://vimeo.com/9908858. In a testament to the power of speaking out publicly on an issue that has been stigmatized, one of the parents Mat Southwell featured in his presentation has decided to go public with her story and another set of parents have also come forward having seen his speech online. Mr. Southwell has linked them up with Diane Taylor, a reporter for The Guardian newspaper in the UK, who has a special interest in families. To see a previous article Ms. Taylor has written on the subject of drug users and parenting, go to http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2001/sep/05/familyandrelationships.drugsandalcohol)
