Equity, HIV and Children

We are now at a turning point in the fight against HIV and AIDS. It is largely the poorest and most excluded children and families for whom advances made in HIV prevention, treatment and care remain out of reach. Achieving global targets, including Start Free Stay Free AIDS Free, 90-90-90, and several of the Sustainable Development Goals, requires tackling the social and economic barriers that prevent excluded groups from accessing and benefitting from HIV services.

At the AIDSImpact Conference in Cape Town, South Africa, the Coalition released a paper outlining the steps necessary to address this challenge and to ensure we reach all children in the HIV response. Read the full paper here.
